The Lake Bluff PTO provides ongoing services and programs to the district, including:
- Publications (student directory, yearbooks, PTO website, parent awareness info)
- Student enrichment programs that provide cultural, educational and entertainment programs
- Parent information programs
- Room parent volunteers who organize class parties and distribute PTO-related information to classroom parents
- Teacher/staff appreciation
- Books for classrooms and library through Book Fair sales
In addition to these programs we fund capital projects for District 65. Examples of recent projects include:
- The STEAM lab at LBMS
- Water bottle refill stations at LBES
- New playground stencils at LBES
Money raised by the Lake Bluff PTO is used to fund programs and resources for the District that are not attainable through local or state funding. Our primary fundraising activities include:
- The bi-annual Spring fundraiser event
- Pumpkin Chase & Pumpkin Fest
- Book Fairs
- Spirit Wear
- Wrapping paper sales
- Box Tops and Labels for Education
